VBox Announces Professional PCI Card and Routers for Reception of Data in DVB-T Networks

DVB-2050 and XLT-32xxT are DVB-T receivers/routers for high-throughput broadband applications
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, September 12, 2004, - VBox Communications, a private company partially held by Optibase (NASDAQ:OBAS), a leading provider of digital broadcast receivers, today announced its new DVB-2050 and XLT32xxT products. The DVB-2050 is- a highly integrated DVB terrestrial receiver card designed for DVB-T networks. The XLT-32xxT, a family of products including the XLT-3210T and XLT3220T, provides reception of IP Data broadcasted from DVB-T networks and routing to IP Networks.
DVB-2050 – Broadband DVB-T Low-Profile PCI Receiver Card
Featuring high data throughput and optional support for popular conditional access systems, the DVB-2050 delivers the flexibility and performance required by demanding broadcast applications. The DVB-2050 is a low-profile PCI card with DVB-T reception front-end and hardware acceleration for DVB handling that allows Terrestrial broadcasting reception.
XLT-32xxT – Broadband DVB-T Receivers/Routers and Gateways
The XLT-32xxT family of products provides high-throughput terrestrial-to-LAN connectivity, delivering IP multicast and unicast services for commercial data broadcasts. These products are extremely reliable, easy to use and simple to integrate. Moreover, the XLT-32xxT products provide superior performance utilizing hardware acceleration for DVB handling and are provided with Web-based and secured remote monitoring and management applications.

Availability
DVB-2050 with Software Development Kit (SDK) is already available. XLT-32xxT will be available in November 2004.
