VBox Will Demonstrate the XLV-32xx, a Family of Broadcast Video Streamers Over IP, in Satellite 2006 Show

XLV-32xx are IP Streamers for Reception of Encrypted Video From DVB Networks and Multicasting Over IP-Network
WASHINGTON DC, February 7 /PRNewswire/ -- VBox Communications, a private company partially held by Optibase (NASDAQ: OBAS - News), a leading provider of digital broadcast solutions, - announced today its new XLV-32xx family of IP-streamer products. These video streamers enable reception of Free-to-air and PayTV programs from Satellite, Terrestrial (DVB-T, ATSC) and Cable networks and streaming over IP Networks.
The XLV-32xx products can be used in enterprise and SOHO environments. Target applications include Point-of-Sale, Point-of-Presence, Video surveillance, Hospitality and e-learning.
The IP-streamer devices can be provided with enhanced security functions including receiver password protection, Fixed-key CAS and optionally supports for standard Conditional Access system e.g. NDS, NagraVision, Conax and Irdeto.
The XLV 3210S combines high performance DVB-S reception capabilities (up to 45 Msps), hardware Transport Stream processing engine and enhanced streaming application. Other derivatives of the XLV-3xxx family includes XLV 3210A (supports ATSC reception), XLV 3210T (supports DVB-T reception) and XLV 3210C (supports Cable reception).
